Balancing

[old → new]

Galaxy Map

As our galaxy map grew naturally, the higher-tier players did not have enough systems to find missions in. As lower-tier players only need a few systems to complete their assignments, we decided to increase the number of higher-tier systems and decrease the number of lower-tier systems.

  • 7 Tier 1 systems are now Tier 2 ones
    • In some Tier 1 missions the goals slightly changed tue to this change
  • 13 Tier 2 systems are now Tier 3 ones
  • 16 Tier 3 systems are now Tier 4 ones
  • 6 Tier 2 systems are now Tier 4 ones
  • Also moved the AKALASAYA system from Tier 3 → Tier 1
  • Added two new Tier 3 Iyatequa systems
  • Added 60 Tier 5 systems

Turret Balancing

Changed the difference between Common, Uncommon, Rare and Epic turrets as we received feedback that rare and uncommon turrets are not useful enough for endgame players

  • Uncommon Turrets: 120% of the power of Common turrets → 130%
  • Rare Turrets: 140% → 150%
  • Epic: remains unchanged
  • Changed the Attack Preference for the following weapons:
  • All changes here are compared to the attack preference before the 2.0 update
    • Flak
      • vs Fighter: +300% more likely to attack
      • vs Corvettes: +250% more likely to attack
      • vs Frigates: + 100% more likely to attack
      • vs Capitals, Super Capitals and Flagships: -100% less likely to attack
    • Corvette Mass Driver
      • vs Fighter: -20% less likely to attack
      • vs Corvettes: -20% less likely to attack
      • vs Frigates: +200% more likely to attack
      • vs Destroyers: +100% more likely to attack
    • Interceptor Mass Drivers (Vulcans)
      • vs Fighter: +250% more likely to attack
      • vs Corvettes: +200% more likely to attack

      • vs Fighter: -50% less likely to attack
      • vs Corvettes: -50% less likely to attack
      • vs Destroyers: +50% more likely to attack
      • vs Super Capitals: +100% more likely to attack
    • Pulsar
      • vs Fighter: -200% less likely to attack

BUG FIXES

We fixed various bugs, some notable ones are:

  • Fixed that you could not find any T4 Trading Stations outside of the Amassari Remain.
  • Fixed that the same Unknown Find rewarded the same rewards every day.
    • It is intended for the Unknown Finds to be random. Finding an Epic Cryopod on one day should not result in you finding the same Cryopod again on the 2nd day.
  • Fixed that the UI showed that the range of Matter Projector turrets got lower after being upgraded.
  • Fixed that the T4 Frigate Anti-Armor Blueprint could only be bought once.
  • Fixed that upgrading Rare Officers was too expensive.
  • Fixed that no second wave appeared in Distress Call missions.
  • Fixed that sometimes clicking the View Shipyard or View Fabricator button in your Starbase, caused the UI to overlap.
  • Fixed that on some iOS devices, the clan level was truncated in the clan members tab.
  • Fixed that the turrets on the T1 and T3 Assault Frigate were clipping into the ship model.
  • Fixed two typos in the description of the “Pahra’s Rock” Strike.
